Packages start at R2,999 for a simple 1–3 page site (see Pricing above), or use the live estimator to get an instant estimate based on exactly what you need — pages, features, timeline and all. First-time clients get R500 off.

Simple sites can go live in as little as 48 hours. Most projects take 1–4 weeks depending on scope and how quickly I get your content and feedback. Need it sooner? Pick a shorter timeline in the estimator — a small rush fee may apply.

Every project includes 2 rounds of revisions as standard (Premium gets 3). Need extra rounds beyond that? They're billed per round — the estimator shows you the exact cost if you add more.

Hosting isn't required, but it is recommended — the optional monthly Care Plans (R299 or R499/month) keep your site hosted, secure, backed up and looked after. You can also host elsewhere if you already have a setup you prefer.

Yes — if you already own a domain (e.g. yourbusiness.co.za), I'll connect it for you. If you don't have one yet, I'll guide you through buying and setting one up.

I don't disappear after launch. Every package includes a period of support, and the optional Care Plans keep things running smoothly long-term — security updates, backups, and small content changes handled for you.

By EFT — no deposit needed. Full payment is due once your site is finished and live, within 7 days of launch. Banking details are sent directly once we've agreed on a quote. I don't currently take payment through the site itself.

What I collect

When you submit the contact form on this site, I collect the name, phone number, email address, package selection and message you provide. No other personal data is collected automatically — this site does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics.

Why I collect it

Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and communicate with you about your project. Your details are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Where it's stored

Submissions are stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore), encrypted in transit. Only I have access to this data — it cannot be read, listed, or exported by site visitors.

Your rights (POPIA)

Under South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information I hold about you. To do so, email elevatewebdesigns26@gmail.com and I'll action your request within a reasonable time.

1. Scope of Work

Each project is scoped and quoted individually, based on the pages, features and timeline agreed with you (see the Pricing and Estimator sections above). Any work beyond what was quoted — extra pages, extra features, or a materially different brief — is treated as a change in scope and quoted separately.

2. Payment Terms

No deposit is required to begin work. Full payment is due within 7 days of your site going live, in South African Rand (ZAR). Payment is by EFT — banking details are sent directly once a quote is agreed. No online payment is currently accepted through this site.

If payment is not received within that 7-day period, the site will be taken offline until payment is made — this does not cancel the amount owed, which remains payable. If payment is still outstanding 30 days after going live, the project may be treated as cancelled and the site permanently removed, without affecting the amount already owed for the completed work.

3. Revisions

Every package includes 2 free rounds of revisions as standard (more on the Professional and Premium packages — see Pricing). Additional rounds beyond what's included are billed per round, at the same rate shown in the live estimator.

4. Timeline

Timelines are estimates based on the scope agreed and how quickly feedback and content are provided. Delays in receiving content or feedback from you may extend the delivery date accordingly.

5. Ownership & Intellectual Property

Full ownership of the completed website — the design, code and build work — transfers to you on receipt of full payment. Until then, that work remains the property of Elevate Web Design. Any content you provide (logos, photos, text, existing branding) remains your property throughout, regardless of payment status.

Where a domain is registered as part of a project, it is registered in your own name and account — Elevate Web Design does not retain ownership or control of client domains.

6. Liability

Liability for any claim relating to a project is limited to the total fees payable for that project, except in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

7. Unresponsive Clients

If a client does not respond to a request for feedback or content for 30 days, the project may be paused or cancelled, and a fee reflecting the work already done may be invoiced — the same basis as an active cancellation (see Refunds & Cancellations below).

8. Refunds & Cancellations

Once-off projects: since no payment is taken until the site is finished and live, there's nothing to refund if a project doesn't reach that point. If a client cancels after work has begun but before completion, a fee reflecting the work already done may be invoiced. Once a site is completed and live, the full quoted fee is owed regardless of whether it continues to be used — taking a site offline for non-payment (see Payment Terms) is a remedy, not a waiver of the amount owed.

Monthly care plans: billed monthly, cancel anytime (see Hosting & Care Plans above) — no cancellation fee, and no refund for time already paid in the current billing period.

9. Force Majeure

Elevate Web Design is not liable for delays or outages caused by circumstances outside reasonable control — including load-shedding, internet or power outages, or downtime of third-party infrastructure providers (such as Firebase or Cloudflare) used to build and host your site.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. Any dispute will first be addressed directly between the parties in good faith before either party pursues formal action, including via the Small Claims Court where the amount involved qualifies.
